1. Acceptance of Terms

QuantPrompt ("the Service", quantprompt.app) is operated by Mervan Kanat ("we", "us"), an individual seller. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QuantPrompt is analytics software that tests user-defined strategy rules on historical market data. Users describe rules in natural language; the Service turns them into a structured configuration, simulates them on past prices and reports performance metrics. Tools that evaluate a user's own rules on current data report what those rules say; they are not recommendations. The Service is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

3. Not Financial Advice

QuantPrompt does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and does not provide trading signals or recommendations. It is not a broker or trading platform and does not place or execute orders. Backtest results are based on historical data and do not guarantee future performance. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Credits & Payment

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive a limited number of credits. Paid plans provide additional credits on a monthly basis. Credits do not roll over between billing periods. Prices are in USD.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

6. Refund Policy

Paid plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase or renewal. See the Refund Policy for details. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer the Service; (b) use the Service to generate misleading performance claims; (c) resell or redistribute backtest results commercially without authorization; (d) attempt to circumvent credit limits or abuse free tier offerings.

8. Data & Accuracy

Market data is sourced from third-party providers (Yahoo Finance, exchange APIs). While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of data. Backtests include estimated commission and slippage but may not reflect actual trading conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. QuantPrompt shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses from trading decisions influenced by backtest results.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, or by contacting [email protected].

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
